Last Updated: December 24, 2025
1. Introduction and Scope
ShowingPartner ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ShowingPartner website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your information when you use our Service.
This policy applies to information we collect through the Service, including via email, text, and electronic messages. It does not apply to information collected offline, through other applications operated by third parties, or from other websites that may link to or be accessible from our Service.
By using the Service, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service. We may update this policy periodically, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
Jurisdiction and Applicability: This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States. The Service is currently available only to residents of Indiana during this beta launch period. As ShowingPartner expands to additional states, this policy may be updated to reflect applicable state privacy laws and regulations. Your account and all communications are subject to Indiana law.
2. Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We collect information in various ways:
- Registration and Profile Information: Name, email, phone number, real estate license details, service location (latitude and longitude), company affiliation, service areas, professional credentials, timezone, and availability
- Transaction Information: Details about jobs posted, applications submitted, completed work, and user ratings. Payment transaction data is maintained by Stripe and is not stored or processed by ShowingPartner.
- Communication Data: Messages and interactions between users facilitated through the platform
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens for push notifications, app version, and date of last device usage. Device tokens are retained for up to 30 days after a device is no longer active to ensure delivery of time-sensitive notifications.
- User Preferences: Timezone, quiet hours (for notification delivery windows), and notification type preferences (which channels are enabled/disabled for each notification type)
- Biometric Authentication: When you enable biometric authentication (Face ID on iOS or Fingerprint on Android), we store only a flag indicating that you have enabled this feature. Biometric data (fingerprints, facial scans) never leaves your device and is handled exclusively by your device's operating system. We do not collect, store, or transmit any biometric data.
- Information from Third Parties: License verification services, identity verification providers, and other users who identify you in transactions
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

4. Third-Party Data Sharing
The following categories of information are shared with specific third parties for essential platform functions:
- To Slack (Admin Notifications Only): When critical system events occur, admin notifications containing event type, timestamp, and severity level are sent to our Slack workspace for operational monitoring only. User personal information is not shared with Slack.
- To SMS Providers: User phone numbers and notification content are shared with SMS service providers to deliver time-sensitive notifications according to user preferences and quiet hours settings.
- To Firebase Cloud Messaging: Device FCM tokens, notification title, message content, and notification metadata (job IDs, action URLs) are sent to Google Firebase to deliver push notifications to users' mobile devices.
- To Stripe: All payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe according to their privacy policy. We do not store or process payment card data.
- With Other Users: Agents and helpers can see relevant profile information (name, credentials, ratings, service areas) to facilitate connections. However, we limit visibility based on professional context.
- Service Providers: Third parties who assist us (email providers, identity verification providers, cloud hosting services). These providers are obligated under their terms of service to protect and securely handle your data.
- License Verification: We share license information with state licensing authorities and third-party verification services to verify your credentials.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Service; or to protect our rights, safety, and property.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Aggregated Data: We may share aggregated, de-identified information that does not identify individuals (e.g., industry statistics, usage trends).
We do not sell personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their marketing purposes without your consent.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure server infrastructure, access controls, and regular security assessments.
Your Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your password or allow unauthorized access to your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach.
Limitations: No security system is impenetrable. While we implement industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet. Any transmission of information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of security measures.
6. Data Retention

- Communications: Retained for customer service purposes and dispute resolution
- Device Tokens: Retained for 30 days after device becomes inactive, then automatically deleted
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
